Universal Orlando Resort on Tuesday released the first photos of some of the Universal monsters that will be featured in the attraction Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment, which will open with new theme park Epic Universe in May.
The attraction will be located in Dark Universe, one of five themed worlds that will make up Epic Universe.
In total, there will be 14 new animated figures featured on Monsters Unchained. Universal called them "the most ambitious and life-like animated figures ever created."

On the attraction, guests will visit the catacombs of Frankenstein Manor. There, Dr. Victoria Frankenstein, the infamous Henry Frankenstein's great-great-granddaughter, "conducts her twisted and misguided experiments," Universal said.
She invites her guests to witness the control she can exert over the monsters, but the monsters have other plans, and they are unleashed in the manor.
"Guests then embark on a terrifying ride through the darkness as they try to evade Dracula, the Wolf Man, the Creature from the Black Lagoon and more," Universal said.

Universal released pictures of Frankenstein's Monster, Dracula, the Wolf Man and the Creature from the Black Lagoon.
Frankenstein's Monster stands at 9 feet tall, Universal said. He will first appear in the queue of the attraction. The monster will walk within Dr. Frankenstein's laboratory during a preshow.
Universal called Dracula "the most dangerous of monsters" the doctor tries to control. He will make several appearances throughout the attraction.

The Wolf Man will make an appearance as guests try to escape the manor, coming "within inches of his razor-sharp teeth and jagged claws."
Guests will see the Creature from the Black Lagoon, or "Gill-man," as he emerges from his lagoon.
Outside of the attraction, monsters and a cast of other characters will conduct meet-and-greets throughout Dark Universe, which is set in the village of Darkmoor.
Epic Universe is set to open on May 22. So far, Universal has offered multiday ticket packages for sale that each include one day of admittance to Epic, a capacity-control strategy travel advisors have praised as necessary to disperse demand across the resort.
