TAP Air Portugal will inaugurate three seasonal U.S. routes next spring and make Los Angeles its eighth U.S. gateway.
TAP will fly between Los Angeles and Lisbon from May 16 through Oct. 25, using an Airbus A330-900neo widebody. The route will be operated four times per week with the exception of its first week, when it will be operated three times.
The airline will fly four times weekly between Boston and Porto from May 14 through Oct. 25 using an Airbus A321LR narrowbody.
TAP will also fly weekly between San Francisco and Terceira Island in the Azores from June 3 to Aug. 26 using an A330-900neo.
No other airline serves any of those routes.
TAP currently serves seven U.S. airports: New York JFK, Newark, Boston, Miami, Washington Dulles, San Francisco, and Chicago O'Hare.
