"Ski the World, Differently" is the name for a new line of Kensington packaged vacations that will be offered at 16 ski resorts in eight countries.
The product line will be rolled out in two phases, initially with resorts in Europe and Japan, to be followed by slopes in Chile, Argentina and Canada at a later date.
"Our new ski itineraries are a direct response to the increasing demand for adventure and sport-themed travel," said Kensington president Helen Giontsis.
Travelers can choose from getaways of eight or nine days or longer trips of 10 to 12 days that include opportunities for private guided touring in the destination.
Among the packages will be an eight-day Swiss Alps vacation at the Zermatt resort priced at $10,019 per person. It includes a four-day pass to enjoy cross-border skiing between Zermatt and Cervinia in Italy, lodging at the Hotel Alpenhof (just steps from the Sunnegga funicular) and top-tier wellness amenities.
Kensington is hosting a live webinar for travel advisors about the ski getaways on Thursday, Oct. 17 at 2 p.m. Eastern.
