Travel Leaders Network on April 3 began rolling out Internova SNAP, its co-branded version of Sabre Red Launchpad.
The program, which sits on the Sabre GDS, was designed to be a simpler version of Sabre Red 360. Sabre designed the program with Internova Travel Group (No. 11 on Travel Weekly's 2023 Power List), Travel Leaders' parent company.
Using SNAP, advisors can make simple flight, hotel and car rental bookings within a graphical interface. More complicated transactions can be handed off to Sabre Red 360.
The program displays multiple price options and has comparison capabilities. Additional features are in development, Travel Leaders Network said.
One-way, roundtrip and multi-city flight bookings for multiple passengers are possible. Any commission on air bookings is prominently displayed.
Internova SNAP supports NDC offers, content from low-cost carriers and traditional fare data. Its hotel content includes Internova's Select Hotels & Resorts, Worldwide Hotels & Resorts and Curated Hotels & Resorts programs. Luxury properties are included via sister company Bonotel Exclusive Travel.
Travel Leaders said the program will reduce time to onboard new travel advisors. The network also is positioning Internova SNAP as a good product for independent contractors who have previously shied away from using GDSs.
"One of the biggest challenges that we face as a sector is recruiting new talent," TLN president Roger Block said. "We need modern retailing tools that will help those new to the industry become successful without having to learn a complicated language.
"Internova SNAP is a vital component of that effort," he added. "It also gives our independent travel advisors a simpler way to shop and book travel, helping them retain clients and build a competitive advantage in the marketplace."
