The Royal Lahaina Resort & Bungalows, which housed residents displaced by the 2023 Lahaina wildfires, has reopened for business on Maui's Ka'anapali Beach.
As part of its reopening, the resort is introducing two new culinary venues on Sept. 3. They are Lahaina Noon (an oceanfront restaurant open for breakfast, lunch, happy hour and dinner) and Pineapple Moon (an open-air poolside bar).
The lobby and pool areas have received a refresh, as have the resort's 127 private bungalows, which have been outfitted with midcentury-inspired décor.
More updates will follow, with the Royal Lahaina in the process of expanding wedding and event spaces, which will include the addition of oceanfront wedding suites with concierge services. The Alana Spa is adding an oceanfront extension, comprising six private suites and an enhanced treatment menu.
The Royal Lahaina Resort & Bungalows' reopening comes as Maui continues to recover from the wildfires of 2023, which severely impacted the island's tourism industry.
