Barnes, who had been Intrepid's chief customer officer based in Melbourne, Australia, will move to Seattle in early 2025 and establish Intrepid’s U.S. headquarters there.
Barnes said North America is the company's fastest-growing market, although it is more established in Australia and Europe. He said his goal is to increase annual sales in the region from $150 million currently to $500 million over time. He said Intrepid counts 50,000 North Americans as customers.
