River cruise operator Heritage Line has created two packages combining cruises in Southeast Asia with stays at luxury hotels.
The Escapism package combines a three-night cruise on the Upper Mekong River in Laos aboard the renovated Anouvong with stays at the Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle in Thailand and the Rosewood Luang Prabang in Laos. Travelers can choose to start in Luang Prabang and cruise to Chiang Rai or the reverse.
The four-night Northern Lights package includes a stay at the Capella Hanoi and a choice of two-night cruises. One cruise, aboard Heritage Line's Violet, offers an exploration of Halong Bay. The other, aboard the Ylang, navigates Lan Ha Bay and circles Cat Ba Island.
Heritage Line, owned by Vietnamese native John Tue Nguyen, specializes in river cruises in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar.
A spokeswoman for Heritage Line said that the packages are commissionable.
