The St. Regis Longboat Key said it has closed and will waive cancellation fees through Oct. 14.
In the St. Pete Beach area, the Don CeSar and the Sirata have both closed their doors.
Likewise, St. Pete Beach's TradeWinds Resort said it will remain closed until further notice. The property added that it plans to resume its post-Helene restoration process as soon as Milton passes, and that it expects to begin a phased reopening "in the less affected areas of the resort as soon as possible."
Meanwhile, city officials in Anna Maria Island have announced a mandatory, island-wide evacuation. With many Anna Maria Island hotels still in recovery mode following Helene, properties like the Mainsail Beach Inn, BridgeWalk and Silver Surf remain shuttered. An update on Silver Surf's website indicates that a reopening timeline for the resort remains "uncertain."

The Opal Collection has paused direct bookings for most of the Florida Gulf Coast properties in its portfolio through at least Oct. 10. Impacted properties include the Opal Sands Resort and Sandpearl Resort in Clearwater Beach as well as the Zota Beach Resort and The Resort at Longboat Key Club on Longboat Key, among others.
Allegiant Travel Co.'s Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor will suspend all hotel operations effective Oct. 8. The property said that it would waive cancellation fees for stays booked directly with Sunseeker Resort through Oct. 11, and that deposits and prepayments for cancelled stays on these dates booked directly with Sunseeker will be refunded. Sunseeker added that it expects to resume limited hotel operations by Oct. 11.
