Explora Journeys has hired Anna Nash to serve as the luxury cruise line's president. Nash joins Explora from luxury hotel chain Aman, where she was chief commercial officer.
She will report directly to Pierfrancesco Vago, MSC Cruises' executive chairman (MSC Group is Explora's parent).
Nash worked for 10 years with Aman, shaping global commercial strategy and playing a pivotal role in brand expansion. She has also served as the brand's chief marketing officer and chief communications officer.
Nash previously worked at Rosewood Hotels and Orient-Express before joining Aman in 2014.
Nash will be responsible for driving Explora Journey's strategic vision and growth plans as the line adds its second ship, Explora II, this year. Four more ships are in the pipeline, scheduled to enter service from 2026 to 2028.
Her hiring comes six months after Michael Ungerer stepped down as CEO of Explora Journeys in March.
Chris Austin, president of North America, will remain in that role.
