Music fans have no shortage of choices of performers on Las Vegas stages the rest of this year and into 2025. Cutting-edge, top-of-the-charts stars appear almost every week, and beloved acts that evoke fond memories also frequently find their way to the Strip.

The Killers, who formed in Vegas and feature Henderson native and lead singer Brandon Flowers, recently returned home to perform a sold-out 10-night engagement at the Colosseum at Caesars.

"From the moment I got to Vegas, I was just overwhelmed by billboards of other people playing and the excitement of who was headlining each hotel and fantasizing about that," Dave Keuning, guitarist and co-founder of the band told Las Vegas Weekly. "Residencies weren't really quite a thing 20 years ago as they are now, so to have us doing a residency and being on some of those billboards, that feels like the fantasy is kind of completed."

Here is just a sampling of other big-name performers who'll be appearing on those billboards -- and on Vegas stages -- in the coming months:

• Adele is concluding her residency at the Colosseum at Caesars with 10 sold-out shows through the end of next month. Garth Brooks is also wrapping up his residency at the venue with shows this month and in December, February and March. Blake Shelton, Feb. 5 to 15, and Rod Stewart, with 12 dates from March through June, are also expected to be popular draws.

• Rumors endure of Celine Dion coming to Resorts World, fueled by a TMZ report and her performance during the Summer Olympics Opening Ceremony. In the meantime, Janet Jackson will perform Dec. 30 and 31 as well as several dates in January and February at the venue. So will eight-time Grammy winner Carrie Underwood. In addition to performances between Oct. 16 and 26, she will take the stage on March 26, 28 and 29 and April 2, 4 and 5.

• Over at Dolby Live at Park MGM, fans can see Bruno Mars in six performances from Dec. 18 to New Year's Eve. Mariah Carey recently announced additional 2025 dates for her exclusive engagement at the venue from Jan. 31 to March 15. Maroon 5 will return to Dolby Live at Park MGM in 2025 for eight performances March 7 to 22. The three-time Grammy-winning, multiplatinum band has already performed 40 shows with more than 130,000 tickets sold in Las Vegas.

Anticipation for New Kids

Fans should start planning now to see New Kids on the Block, also at Dolby Live at Park MGM, for their first Las Vegas residency. Show dates for "The Right Stuff" are June 20, 21, 25, 27 and 28, and dates are also set for July, November and February 2026.

"We cherish every opportunity that we get to perform for our fans, but a Las Vegas residency gives us an opportunity to take our performance, and interaction with our fans, to the next level," Donnie Wahlberg said.

Four tiers of packages, bundling tickets to a hotel stay, VIP nightclub access and food and beverages, are also available. Packages are available at MGMResorts.com.

Eagles at Sphere

The Eagles have kicked off a residency at Sphere with 20 performances over 10 weekends. Dates remain from Oct. 11 to Feb. 22. Tickets start at $175, including taxes and fees.

Vibee, a partner for the Eagles' Sphere residency, is selling packages that include a concert ticket and two-night stay at the Venetian.

Third Encore and Vibee also created an Eagles fan experience with merchandise for sale and rare memorabilia on display on the second floor of the waterfall atrium at the Venetian. The attraction is open from 11 a.m. to  7 p.m. Thursdays to Sundays on show weeks. It includes the Troubadour VIP Lounge, a re-creation of the famous Troubadour music venue in West Hollywood, Calif., where Glenn Frey and Don Henley met in 1970.

Other notables

Sphere, Live Nation and Afterlife Records will present Anyma's "The End of Genesys." Anyma is a persona created by Matteo Milleri. Show dates are Dec. 27 to 31 as well as Jan. 1, 10 and 11.

Grammy-winner Dream Theater's 40th Anniversary Tour will stop at the Chelsea at the Cosmopolitan on Feb. 21. This is the progressive-metal band's first North American tour since drummer Mike Portnoy rejoined the lineup.

Rap icon Nas will perform with the Las Vegas Philharmonic during his return to the Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas February 5, 7 and 8. The performances will include classical renditions of hits from his debut album, "Illmatic," which Billboard ranked the No. 1 greatest rap album of all time.

Billy Joel and Sting perform at Allegiant Stadium on Nov. 9, Usher performs at T-Mobile Area on Nov. 15 and 16 and Andrea Bocelli appears at MGM Grand Garden Arena on Dec. 7. During National Final Rodeo week, George Strait will be at Allegiant Stadium on Dec. 7 and Wynonna Judd will perform at the Venetian Dec. 11, 13 and 14.

Barry Manilow, Shania Twain, New Edition, Gin Blossoms, Lionel Richie and Santana are among the other stars who also have performances scheduled through the end of the year.
