Carnival Corp. has appointed new presidents for Princess Cruises, Holland America Line and Seabourn Cruises.
Starting Dec. 2, Gus Antorcha will become Princess Cruises president; he is currently president of Holland America Line. Antorcha will replace John Padgett, who will step away from the business in mid-February.
Antorcha, who has led Holland America Line since 2020, will be succeeded by Beth Bodensteiner on Dec. 2, with her duties also including executive responsibility for Carnival Corp.'s luxury line, Seabourn Cruises.
Bodensteiner is a 20-year veteran of Holland America Line and has served for six years as senior vice president and chief commercial officer, directing revenue management, deployment and customer service. During that time, she took on increasing commercial responsibility, including global sales, product marketing, pricing and planning for Alaska Land + Sea Journeys, integrated marketing and commercial activities for Seabourn.
Both Antorcha and Bodensteiner will report to Carnival Corp. CEO Josh Weinstein.
Meanwhile, Seabourn will have a new president. Mark Tamis, most recently the global president of hotel management company Aimbridge Hospitality, will replace Natalya Leahy, who has accepted a position outside of Carnival Corp., the company said. Leahy had been named Seabourn president in 2023.
Before Aimbridge, Tamis led hotel and onboard operations for Royal Caribbean International and served as senior vice president of guest operations for Carnival Cruise Line. He also has worked for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and Ian Schrager Hotels.
