Description
Designed like a Thai house with regional fabrics and woods, artworks; set on ten acres amidst fountains, ponds and lush foliage.
Location and History
Formerly the Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok, the Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel was built in 1978 as a Peninsula hotel. The property was sold to Regent Hotels in 1982, and then taken over by Four Seasons when it acquired Regent in 1992. Bangkok-based Minor Hotels now operates the celebrated hotel under its signature Anantara brand.
Given that there is more than one Anantara in town, taxi drivers may need to be reminded that this was once the Four Seasons.
